Journalists convene at the Arizona Daily Star to focus on Growth in the West

Journalists throughout the west took part in special program held at the Arizona Daily Star focused on growth in the western states. Nearly 60 attendees will participate. The population of western states is growing dramatically and Arizona is at ground zero. The city of Phoenix is now the fifth largest city in America. With growth comes progress but also pressures on infrastructure. Leading national experts spoke at the day long conference and provided participants with the knowledge to cover this most important story.

This program is part of the ongoing onomic education program of The Communications Institute in partnership with the Thomas R. Brown Foundations.
